How To Get involved

Lakewood Village always needs a helping hand. All of our work is done on a volunteer basis. Please consider offering some of your time to help out on occasional projects. Meet your neighbors, learn the history of our great neighborhood, and especially, offer ideas for improving Lakewood Village!

Let us know what you think!

All ideas are welcome... many have become part of Lakewood Village. For example, the snowplowing of our roads came about from a question at an Annual Meeting. Please send a note to any board member, or to Marv Miller.

Become a "Canal Captain"

Each year, we contract weed harvesting near the end of June. The weed harvesting company needs guidance on where and how to harvest in our many canals. You can help by volunteering a short amount of time to help guide them and answer questions as they cut weeds and harvest them on your canal. Contact any Board member on the Water Resources Committee for more information.

Sign up for Newsletters

Periodically, each of the Committees sends out an update for events, requests for help, opinions about how to make Lakewood Village a better place to live, and more.

To get on these mailing lists, send a note to Marvin Miller naming the committee that you want to learn more about. See the Announcement page for a full description of committees and activities.
